Car Facts:

I am technical advisor for CLC for 1939-41 Cadillacs and have been for about 25 years.  I have helped many people over the years restore their Cadillacs and LaSalles and have personally restored over two dozen Cadillacs.  My '39 series 75 convertible coupe took Best of Show in the Seattle Grand National in 1994 and my '41 Cadillac convertible coupe took Best of Show Prewar at the Anaheim Grand National in 2006 , neither of which I own anymore. I helped a friend restore this car about 18 years ago when I lived in Oregon.  When he died about 5 years ago I bought the car from his daughters.

Since then I did much work, including getting the dash grained, new top, much paint work and some mechanical work, including a state of the art clutch and suspension work.  Car has 3:08 differential gears from a 1950's Fleetwood so it is capable of very high speed touring.  This is a wonderful tour and show car.  It won its Class, Classic Open at Forest Grove, Oregon two years ago.  I drove it from Oregon to my home in Westlake Village, California, where it now resides in my garage, which it shares with a 1939 Buick Roadmaster convertible sedan (I love GM convertible sedans), '36 Packard coupe, and '47 Lincoln Continental Cabriolet.  I am a member of the Board of the CCCA SoCal region .  I was Chief Judge for the CCCA Grand Classic in San Marino last June and will also be Chief Judge for the upcoming Santa Barbara Concours on Oct 30, 2011.
