What do you call 71 Cadillacs and 2 LaSalles? The Southern
California CLC’s Fourth Annual Dealer Show at Penske Cadillac, of
Members of the SoCal CLC joined with members of the Unique Cadillac
Club, as well as members of the Cadillac Kings from their LA, Orange
County, and San Diego chapters, to celebrate the 50th
anniversary of the 1961 Cadillac.
From grandly restored and lovingly preserved original cars, to
Cadillacs fully customized to their owners’ tastes, the show held
something for everyone.
Ten 1961 Cadillacs came to mark their golden anniversary, including
Frank Burns’s stunning blue Coupe de Ville, Jay and Betsy
Davenport’s time capsule Sedan de Ville, and Lane Langley’s
show-stopping Series 62 Convertible.
The belle of the ball, though, was Ted Bower’s 1911 Model 30
Touring Car, which won best of show in a landslide decision.
Special thanks to Calvin Jones for his tireless efforts to
organize this event and make it a success year after year, and to
the management and staff of Penske Cadillac for the gracious
use of their facilities.
